One of Sony's best-selling wireless ANC headphones, the WH-1000XM4, is currently being sold for less than RM1,000 via the brand's official store page on Lazada. Specifically, they're going for RM999, which again is a steal, considering that they're still worth RM1,599 on the current market.
The headset came on to the scene back in 2021 and while it already has a successor in the form of the WH-1000XM5, they're still the preferred model by audiophiles, primarily due to it being one of the last pair of wireless headphones that could still be folded up. After that year, Sony seemingly abandoned the ergonomic choice of design for the more conventional, standard headset design , as did its rivals in the personal audio market.
As a quick primer, the WH-1000XM4 uses 40mm dome-type Neodymium drivers, coupled with aluminium-coated LCP diaphragms, giving it a frequency range between 4Hz and 40KHz. As it is with the WH Series, controls are gesture and touch-based, with the right earcup housing said sensors. If this piques your interest, we advise that you make the purchase soon.
