YORK COUNTY, Pa. — A York City Police Officer has been arrested after allegedly sexually assaulting and breaking the bones of a one-year-old child.

The child was transported to Hershey Medical Center and their injuries were reviewed by medical professionals, the Dauphin County Abuse Team and Pennsylvania State Police. Online court documents show that Cugini has been charged with rape of a child, aggravated indecent assault of a child and aggravated assault- attempts to cause serious bodily injury or causes injury with extreme indifference. "It has come to our attention a member of this department was arrested for an incident of alleged misconduct and criminal behavior, occurring in Dauphin County.
