The film reimagines the funeral not as a mere farewell, but as a transformative turning point marking a new beginning for the grieving son.
The script reading took place last November in Seoul, with director Kim Soon Soo and producer Jang Chan Yang guiding the session. Yoo Seung Ho captivated the audience as Tae Ha, the son who matures and finds strength amidst his grief. Adding another layer of depth to his performance, Yoo Seung Ho also contributed to the film’s original soundtrack. Kim Dong Wook portrays Ha Jin, a mysterious funeral director who oversees the unique ceremony, bringing an air of intrigue to the proceedings.
