"There is no problem with acknowledging our history, but rolling out these performances before every sporting event or public gathering is definitely divisive," Senator Nampijinpa Price told The Australian. "What have we done wrong in this debate … to simply ask for a better chance at life for our most vulnerable? That's what we're seeking here."

"Protocols for welcoming visitors to Country have always been a part of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. Boundaries were clear, and crossing into another group's Country required a request for permission to enter," the Reconciliation Australia website reads.
