'Yellowstone' star Lainey Wilson plans to be in the series finale of the hit Western show. At the 2024 CMT Awards, the country music artist spoke to Entertainment Tonight about what fans can expect with the final installment of 'Yellowstone,' and she explained that she is in the dark, much like the series' fan base. She shared that she would be 'shocked' if her character, a country singer named Abby, is not included in the final episode.
In February 2023, Costner's attorney, Marty Singer, gave a statement on that rumor to Fox News Digital, saying, 'The idea that Kevin was only willing to work one week on the second half of season 5 of ‘Yellowstone’ is an absolute lie. 'It’s ridiculous, and anyone suggesting it shouldn’t be believed for one second. As everyone who knows anything about Kevin is well aware, he is incredibly passionate about the show and has always gone way above and beyond to ensure its success.
My opinion of Kevin as an actor hasn’t altered,' Sheridan told the outlet in June. 'His creation of John Dutton is symbolic and powerful… and I’ve never had an issue with Kevin that he and I couldn’t work out on the phone. But once lawyers get involved, then people don’t get to talk to each other and start saying things that aren’t true and attempt to shift blame based on how the press or public seem to be reacting.
