Lainey Wilson revealed her 'Yellowstone' career almost didn't happen due to her father's failing health, but they both persevered, thanks to the help of prayer.
"Professionally, I felt like, man, I'm in the best spot that I've ever been in. I've been in Nashville for 12 years trying to do this thing," she said while chatting on an episode of"Dutton Rules: A Yellowstone 1923 podcast."
"I felt like I was on top of the world when it came to opportunities, but personally, man, me and my family, we were going, we were really, really going through it." Wilson's father, Brian, suffered a stroke and also had his left eye removed due to a fungal infection.filming of ‘Yellowstone,’"He spent two months in ICU in Houston, fighting for his life. The doctors told us he's not gonna make it, there's a big chance he's not gonna make it."
