“Yellowstone” actor Jefferson White is not sure if one of the cowboy franchise’s hotly anticipated spinoff shows is still happening., “Not that I know of now,” when asked if he’ll reprise his role for the planned spinoff “6666.
” “I kept my fingers crossed, but also, I’d be grateful if I got to do more and I’m grateful for what I got to do. I don’t want to be selfish,” he said. “We got a lot of great mileage out of that show.”Paramount announced the show “6666” in Feb. 2021. Set on Texas’ historic Four Sixes Ranch – which “Yellowstone” mastermind Taylor Sheridan bought in real life – the show would follow Jimmy after the events of “Yellowstone.” efferson White, Ryan Bingham, Denim Richards, Wes Bentley, Ian Bowen, Gil Birmingham, Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, Luke Grimes, Kelsey Chow and Kevin Costner attend Paramount Network’s “Yellowstone” Season 2 Premiere Party at Lombardi House on May 30, 2019 in Los Angeles, California.The plot centered on the Dutton family, including patriarch John and his adult children Kayce , Jamie , Beth and Beth’s husband, Rip . There’s a spinoff in the works for Kayce called “Y:Marshalls” premiering on CBS in March. There’s also a Beth and Rip spinoff in the works. Rumored to be called “The Dutton Ranch,” it premieres at an unannounced date in 2026. His TV deal with Paramount doesn’t officially end until 2028, and future shows in the “Yellowstone” world will still live on Paramount – but perhaps he doesn’t have much incentive amid the move. “To just get one of their horses was a status symbol, because they’re so well trained,” he explained. “This was the ranch I based scope and operation on, because it didn’t exist in Montana. Most ranches there had already been carved up.
