The New York Yankees have reportedly expressed interest in free agent infielder Jorge Polanco, who is coming off a down season with the Seattle Mariners. Polanco is expected to be healthy for spring training after undergoing knee surgery in the offseason.

His 93 OPS+ ranked the third-worst of his 11 seasons, and the lowest since the COVID-shortened 2020 campaign when he posted an 82 OPS+.
