The New York Yankees have reportedly shown interest in pitcher Kyle Hart , who had a successful 2023 season in the Korean Baseball Organization ( KBO ). Hart, 32, posted a 2.69 ERA with a 1.03 WHIP and 182 strikeouts over 157 innings. The Yankees are also said to be pursuing Japanese ace Roki Sasaki , a 23-year-old who has a posting period opening on December 9th and must sign by January 23rd.
Due to his age, Sasaki's contract falls under international bonus pool rules, meaning all teams face similar financial limitations and will need to offer the most appealing environment for both his baseball and personal life
