Depressing dog-speak aside, the Yankees have a chance to start anew in 2024, and there may be no better way to brighten up the season than with customized dog jerseys.
Earlier this week, Yankees dog dads Aaron Judge and Anthony Rizzo received “Wiener Dogs” jerseys custom-fitted with the names of their respective pet dachshunds from the Sioux Falls Stampede hockey team. Judge owns a blond doxie named Gus as well as a girl named Penny, who is reportedly best friends with Rizzo’s dachshund, Kevin.
Judge and Rizzo couldn’t believe how cool their custom “Wiener Dogs” hockey jerseys looked and immediately became Stampede fans for life.become the Fighting Wiener Dogs.
