Chinese president Xi Jinping's goal is to 'change the world order into a Sino-centric one', experts say as he heads to the Brics meeting in South Africa

The leaders will hold a series of meetings from Tuesday alongside officials invited from 67 countries, with Mr Xi’s attendance underlining his country’s investment in the bloc.The Chinese leader will also meet with African heads of state on the sidelines “to advance China-Africa co-operation in the new era”, Beijing’s ambassador to South Africa, Chen Xiaodong, said last week.
