Microsoft has announced it will be removing multiple games and their DLC from the Xbox 360 Marketplace starting next week.

Microsoft has announced that it will be delisting multiple games and DLC packs from the Xbox 360 Marketplace soon, including games such as The Witcher 2, Far Cry 2, various Assassin's Creed games, and more.

As per an update posted over on the Xbox Support website, Microsoft says it will be removing multiple games and their associated DLC packs from the Xbox 360 Marketplace in select regions starting February 7th, 2023. "A number of game titles and associated add-ons will be removed from the Xbox 360 Marketplace in a select set of regions per title. These removals will start on February 7th, 2023," the post."Once purchased, you can always redownload these games or any other previously purchased games from your Xbox 360 Download History."

Since Microsoft has only mentioned the Xbox 360 Marketplace in its statement, it would seem that most of these backwards compatible games could still potentially be purchased from the standard Xbox Store, assuming they have been brought across.
