Xaba and Kipngetich shine at Absa Run Your City Joburg 10K
South African runner Glenrose Xaba corosses the finish line to win the Absa RUN YOUR CITY DURBAN 10K Womens race.Following her record-breaking run in Durban and victory in Tshwane, Xaba continued her winning streak with another sub-32-minute finish at altitude in Johannesburg.
"The route was tough, and the wind made it even more challenging, but the competition was strong, with Makatisi, an Olympian, and my training partner Mailula pushing me." Kipngetich, who finished second at the Absa Run Your City Tshwane 10K in August, took control of the race just before the halfway point and never looked back.
