In a preview of X-Men: Red 13 - out Wednesday - readers meet new mutant Lycaon. In issue 11, Sunspot described Lycaon as 'Omega Wolverine... then double it,' and now fans see he wasn't exaggerating, as the towering wolf-centaur takes his throne.
In a preview for X-Men: Red #13, Marvel officially introduces Lycaon - a mutant warrior who has been described before as an "Omega Wolverine." The imposing mutant's design immediately makes it clear why Logan's allies would jump to this description, however Lycaon is different to the X-Men's favorite brawler in one major respect.
