Another Marvel character has been confirmed to appear in Disney+'s highly-anticipated X-Men '97 revival, which will arrive in 2024.
The official synopsis for X-Men ‘97 reads: “Storm and Wolverine try to continue the X-Men. Magneto comes in and wants to step up for Charles Xavier. Sinister comes in to try to end the X-Men once and for all.”
X-Men ’97 will explore new stories in the iconic 90s timeline of the original series. It will feature voices of Ray Chase as Cyclops, Jennifer Hale as Jean Grey, Holly Chou as Jubilee, Lenore Zahn as Rogue, George Buza as Beast, Cal Dodd as Wolverine, Matthew Waterson as Magneto, Alison Sealy-Smith as Storm, A.J. LoCascio as Gambit, and Christopher Britton as Mister Sinister. Other X-Men character such as Bishop, Cable, Emma Frost, Nightcrawler, and more will also appear in the series.
It is created and executive produced by head writer Beau DeMayo . The revival is expected to retain the iconic theme music from the original X-Men animated series.
