The former champion, who has Pa. ties, made the sad revelation this week.
“Which means that the pregnancy was not viable, couldn’t move forward with it, and it’s actually something that and I were both learning together is very, very dangerous, and something a lot of women don’t actually make it through,” she said.
She said the medical emergency put her on full bed rest for a month and pushed her, understandably, into depression. “Not only am I in the emergency room for this crazy medical condition that we have to monitor very closely, I was on bed rest for four weeks straight, couldn’t do anything, but then I’m also processing the loss of our baby,” she said. “So, it was a double whammy. Through all of hat, we made it through, and I’m so, so grateful, and I’m not trying to gloss over any of this. I mean, I was in a deep depression for a while.
Carmella, 35, currently wrestles on WWE Raw. She is a former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion and a former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion.
