“We always have some incredibly memorable things happening on Halloween Havoc. It is a spooky night, and I have no doubt that some amazing things are going to happen at the Giant Center on the 27th,” Michaels said. “So we’re already seeing the fruits of our labor here in NXT. You can see the future stars of WWE coming through NXT. You can begin your journey with them at the beginning, much like Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, among many others, who are enjoying their success on the main roster.
I remember watching WWE when you and Triple H were in the group D-Generation X. What’s it been like, going from being two famous troublemakers to both being in management positions?“But one of the things that neither one of us has lost is the joy, the fun, the excitement, the passion that we have for this. I always tell people I’m incredibly thankful and appreciative that I’ve never had to grow up.
I saw a WWE event a few months ago in Hershey, and I was so impressed by the athletes. It was so dynamic - there were so many things like backflips and handsprings mid-match, compared to when I used to watch in the early 2000s. I’m curious about how you’ve seen the industry change since you were in the ring.
It also seems, to me as a casual viewer, that the industry is also healthier and safer for the athletes. Do you feel like it’s a better industry now, as far as their safety is concerned?
