Shaw said that she was also disappointed because other wrestling legends witnessed it but “turned their heads away,” and “did not want to get involved.”and the LGBTQ+ community. We are saddened by the incident Friday afternoon at Wrestlecon in Los Angeles and hope everyone can learn and be better from it.One star who wasn’t at the event but did chime in after Shaw’s accusations was AEW’s Chris Jericho.

Don’t even worry about this,” Jericho responded to Shaw. “#RickSteiner has always gotten away with so much because he is a ‘Steiner.’ Makes me laugh cause I fell for the same shit when he bullied me, Eddie , Chris , and at World War 3 n 1997! I got our back … and if Rick has an issue with this I’d love to discuss with him any time. It’s 2023 dude … grow the up!”
Steiner was a standout wrestler in college at Michigan before moving into the professional wrestling ranks in 1983. Along with his brother, Scott, he formed the popular, “Steiner Brothers,” tag team who were multi-time world champions and starred in the WCW and WWE.
