Right before the game’s launch, WWE 2K24 shocked early access players by erasing their progress. This has dropped the game to a Mostly Negative rating on Steam. Early access to the game is a perk offered to $100 Deluxe Edition and $120 40 Years of WrestleMania Edition owners only. Players also reported not being able to access their premium DLC. Player Shirogitsune believes that the developers temporarily removing the Nightmare Family DLC from Steam disabled access to the game. Another player RufusMGS warns newcomers to “save their save data at Steam folder > userdata > user-id > 2315690 > remote.
