Kuro Games has confirmed the Wuthering Waves x Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration titled The Dream Not Dreamed launches June 8, 2026. The event brings increased drop rates for 5-star Resonators Lucy and Rebecca, plus 4-star Lumi, Youhu, and Taoqi, along with enhanced weapon drops like the 5-star Spectral Trigger and Skull Thrasher, offering new incentives for players of the gacha title.
Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the best RPGs of the last decade or more, and a brilliant interpretation of the original creation, bringing it into the world of video games in a way we hadn't seen up to that point.
Though it undoubtedly had a very rocky launch, developer CD Projekt Red did a remarkable job of turning the proverbial ship around, and its position as one of the all-time greats is secure. As part of that overall quality, it has now started popping up in all sorts of places, from TV adaptations to graphic novelizations and card games.
The latest of those collaborations is now live, and there's plenty of Cyberpunk fun to be had in an entirely different game, if you're willing to give it a chance. As first reported by PushSquare, developer Kuro Games has confirmed the official Wuthering Waves x Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Collab Version"The Dream Not Dreamed" goes live on June 8, 2026.
In case you weren't aware, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is the standalone anime prequel to the game, and by all accounts it's a pretty spectacular foray into the same world. This latest collaboration sees a bunch of gameplay bonuses and rewards added to the game that are worth picking up if you're already playing the Gacha release, or fancy giving it a go. 5-Star Resonator Lucy, and 4-Star Resonators Lumi, Youhu, and Taoqi are all receiving increased drop rates once the event starts, as part of the"Dreaming Upon The Moon" Resonator Convene.
The same is also true of 5-Star Resonator Rebecca throughout, but the fun doesn't stop there for those out there looking to pull in rewards. In terms of weapons, the 5-Star Spectral Trigger, and 4-Star Relativistic Jet, Cadenza and Fusion Accretion all have increased drop rates, while the same is true of the 5-Star melee weapon Skull Thrasher.

As a Gacha game, the mechanics involved in accruing all of this cool stuff won't necessarily be for everyone, but if you were looking for a recognizable entry point into the game, then this could make the transition into actually playing it a little easier. Other than that, it's simply going to be a case of sitting tight for a few years while we wait for CD Projekt Red to cook up the sequel, which they are confirmed to be doing currently.
