A witness told investigators they saw someone hanging outside the front window of a gray Kia Optima shooting at another vehicle on southbound I-5 in Tukwila.

Investigators determined three different caliber guns were used in the shooting, which the WSP said “indicates there was more than one suspect shooting” at Hershey’s vehicle. Johnson"Over 20 shots of handgun and rifle rounds riddled Evan’s car, hitting him on multiple occasions," one of Hershey’s family members told KOMO News. "The most damaging of them struck his right flank, destroying Evan’s right kidney and striking his spinal cord.
Hershey is a Navy veteran who served two years as a Ceremonial Honor Guard and six years as a Fleet Marine Force Corpsman.
