Washington State Patrol is investigating after a woman was killed in a road rage shooting in Skykomish on Saturday night.
Authorities said the shooting started as a road rage incident between the driver of a silver 2014 Kia Sorento and the driver of a Subaru SUV. When the driver of the Kia tried to create distance between themselves and the Subaru, an occupant of the Subaru fired a gun through a rear passenger window on the Kia.Authorities said the Subaru fled in an unknown direction.
Detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating the Subaru. Witnesses described it as a dark-colored SUV with a roof-mounted cargo basket on top.
