Juul Labs Inc. is planning to cut around a third of its staff as it grapples with falling e-cigarette market share and regulatory crackdowns, according to people familiar with the matter.
The San Francisco company will cut between 800 and 950 of its staff as part of a broader restructuring plan, one of the people said. The cuts aren’t related to the coronavirus pandemic, this person said.
