In Honolulu, a beachfront spec home with an infinity-edge swimming pool, outdoor kitchen and about 75 feet of sandy beachfront is hitting the market for $26.995 million

360 Productions/Coldwell Banker RealtyIf it sells for that price, the roughly 7,500-square-foot home would become the priciest to trade on the city’s MLS360 Productions/Coldwell Banker RealtyA beachfront spec house in Hawaii is asking $26.995 million, making it one of the most expensive homes on the market in Honolulu, said listing agent Beth Chang of Coldwell Banker Realty.

If it sells for the listing price, it would become the most expensive homes to trade on the MLS in the city of Honolulu, beating the $19.6 million sale of a neighboring home in March, said Ms. Chang. Developer Tom Nicholson bought the roughly 0.3-acre lot for $6.9 million in 2007, according to property records, and demolished an existing house on the site. Mr. Nicholson said he spent about four years building a new house, declining to disclose the cost of construction.360 Productions/Coldwell Banker RealtyAn infinity-edge pool has ocean views.

Located on Cromwell’s Beach in the pricey Diamond Head neighborhood, the property has about 75 feet of sandy beachfront, said Ms. Chang. The four-bedroom, roughly 7,500-square-foot house is being sold furnished. Amenities include an elevator, a home gym and a glass wine wall. Large windows reveal views of the Pacific Ocean and Black Point peninsula, which shields the property from prevailing winds, said Ms. Chang.Mr.

Roughly nine homes have sold for over $10 million in the city of Honolulu on the MLS year-to-date, up from four during the same period of last year, according to Ms. Chang.Copyright ©2022 Dow Jones & Company, Inc. All Rights Reserved. 87990cbe856818d5eddac44c7b1cdeb8
