Matthew Wright erupts for 24 points as Kyoto completes a weekend sweep of Dwight Ramos and Hokkaido, while San-En’s Thirdy Ravena spearheads the bench in victory.
MANILA, Philippines – Matthew Wright came out firing once more as he drilled in 9-of-14 shots for 24 points to lead Kyoto Hannaryz over Dwight Ramos and the Levanga Hokkaido, 99-84, in the Japan B. League on Sunday, November 20, at the Yotsuba Arena Tokaichi.
Kyoto then broke out of its slump by exploding for 27 points in each of the last three quarters to secure another win versus the home team. Ramos, on the other hand, came off the bench again and immediately made an impact as he provided an assist and knocked down a pull-up jumper midway through the opening quarter.
Earlier, Thirdy Ravena and the San-En NeoPhoenix also got their own weekend sweep as they squeaked past the Akita Northern Happinets in overtime, 93-90, at the CNA Arena Akita.
