News broke Friday that legendary professional wrestler Kevin Sullivan is battling serious health issues and is in need of financial help.said hat Sullivan has “been in rough shape, including battling sepsis and encephalitis,” across the past couple of months. Meltzer said that Sullivan has been “in and out of consciousness in an ICU” and that the GoFundMe has been launched because his insurance is running out.
The GoFundMe, which has already eclipsed its $20,000 goal, is set up to help cover continued hospital expenses, skilled nursing care, acute and sub-acute occupational and physical therapy, recurring medical expenses and transportation to return home to his family.That listed included Jim Cornette, who gave $5,000, Chris Jericho, who gave $2,500, Diamond Dallas Page, who gave $1,000, and current WWE champion Cody Rhodes, who gave $1,000.
