Wrestling legend Ric Flair is mourning the death of his wife’s 24-year-old son Sebastian. Sebastian, a musician and singer, took his own life on Saturday. He was the son of Flair’s long-time partner and fifth wife Wendy. “There are no words to express the pain I am feeling from the loss of my baby,” Wendy wrote. “Mommy loves you.” Sebastian’s death comes 11 years after Flair’s own son Reid died following a drug overdose. “I have spent hours wondering what to say,” Flair wrote.
Sometimes we get so close to our kids, we forget that they need us in so many different ways.” Flair, 75, paid a heartfelt tribute to Sebastian, having known him since he was a child. “I’m so thankful for the time I had with Sebastian. I have so many great memories and bonding time with him as he grew up!” the wrestling icon said. “He stood tall by his mother along with the whole family — Sophia, Paris and Summer — while I was dying. He was so unselfish sharing his mother with me as I was dying.
