AFL: On the Midweek tackle's special digital edition, the team take a look at the bargain players that would boost any side.
All- Australia n midfielder Adam Treloar will be backed to play through a calf niggle in the Western Bulldogs ’ elimination final against Hawthorn on Friday night.
“It’s an 11-month turnaround , that’s tried and true, we make sure the player is ready, we don’t want recurrence,” Beveridge said on Wednesday. “I think if you ask the Blues, that’s probably what they’re doing, and I think everyone understands that .” Vandermeer worked indoors before he was a late arrival on the track during Wednesday’s session, while Treloar participated fully but had his left calf heavily strapped.
“I’m pretty sure they’ll strap his calf, and he had his calf strapped during the game in Ballarat, but towards the end of last week he was feeling pretty good, and his powers of recuperation are pretty strong … we anticipate he’s going to play.”
