Taiwan's love for flashy replicas means that not even an actual Lamborghini is safe
Taiwan may not be one of the countries that jump to mind when you think of supercars but as this video from YouTuber Effspot shows, there are plenty of interesting and cool cars in the tiny island nation.
The start of the video was filmed inside an expansive collection of exotics that includes a bright blue Lamborghini Diablo GT, a Ferrari 512, a 993 Porsche 911 GT2, a lovely E30 BMW 3-Series, and a Porsche 911 GT3. The YouTuber also discovered a Brabus-tuned Mercedes-Benz R129 with an epic 6.1-liter V8 engine. A real Veneno is incredibly rare, with only 4 coupes ever made by Lamborghini. This replica has become quite famous in the local scene as the owner takes it out quite frequently. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c4xntOgo6hI Under the skin is a Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, rather than the Aventador that served as the base for the real Veneno, so it comes as no surprise that the proportions are out of whack. Despite this, the body shop has done a good job replicating many of the original’s crazy design details, including the towering rear wing and shark fin, the rear diffuser, and even the wheels. The brake calipers have even been painted in the colors of the Italian flag. Another highlight of the video is a heavily modified Ferrari California which was modified to fool people into thinking it's a one-off model from Ferrari’s Tailor Made program. Dubbed the ‘One Ferrari Aperta’, it has a bodykit that will give you nightmares, as it's even uglier than some of Mansory’s worst creations.
