A bill that will soon be on Gov. Mike DeWine's desk for a signature would require AED s in all Ohio public and charter schools and recreational facilities.
After Canen was released from the hospital, he wondered whether he would be able to play soccer again. Now, he's preparing for a season on the soccer team. Along with requiring AEDs in all Ohio public schools, chartered nonpublic schools, and recreational facilities, the bill orders the Ohio Department of Health to create an action plan for the use of the devices.
