World Bank unveils US$12 billion aid to combat Covid-19

THE World Bank yesterday unveiled a US$12 billion aid package that will provide fast-track funds to help countries combat the Covid-19 outbreak. “The goal is to provide fast, effective action that responds to country needs,” president David Malpass told reporters.
