Today, Bumo is a bright office space where mothers can work for eight hours but stay in proximity to their children. There's room for pumping and a community created among members. Bumo also offers extracurricular activities and classes — including"kiddy coding" — which can be completed at the brick-and-mortar workspace or on Bumo's online platform.

"I think it's really important and positive to understand that in that 0 to 5 age group, it's not just about child care; it's about education," Lents said."The pandemic has made families reassess the type of child care that they want."
