A 37-year-old worker was tragically killed when an MTA bus collided with a small boom lift on a sidewalk in midtown Manhattan. The impact threw the worker, who was in the lift's bucket, onto the pavement from a height of 20 feet. He was pronounced dead at Bellevue Hospital.

Photos from the scene show the boom lift on the sidewalk in front of the lingerie and clothing store with a huge photo of a scantily dressed Gigi Hadid halfway pulled down.It appears the bus clipped the lift while traveling south on the avenue, badly damaging the top of the front right corner of the bus, according to photos.
