A massive project
A huge project to transform Blackpool Winter Gardens is underway. The first phase of the renovation project, which is set to cost £1.7m, is taking place in the historic entertainment complex's Galleon Bar.
Improvements to the bar, which opened in May 1931, will also see oak beams are being restored and cleaned. While the traditional Old Victoria will be modernised to fit demand and improve service speed, with new tills and an interval ordering facilities is also planned.Behind the scenes at Blackpool Winter Gardens in pictures
