Officials say the project will consolidate Bandera County's scattered offices into one place, improving security and saving money in the long run.
Bandera County has started work on an $8 million county government building that is intended to consolidate spread-out offices and modernize operations, County Judge Richard Evans said. Preliminary work on the project started in the past few months. Permits filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation put the building's estimated completion date at the end of August 2025, a timeline confirmed by Evans.
Boerne expects to spend $21 million on roads, parks, other capital projects Evans said he expects the project to be the last government building built Bandera County needs for a while, and for it to at least last more than 30 years. 'It better,' he said.
