This year's ZooTunes will feature legendary musical icons, the zoo said as it announced it's concert lineup.

ZooTunes is the zoo’s main fundraising event with proceeds supporting the zoo’s animal care, wildlife conservation programs, and education programs.

“This year features a legendary lineup of musical icons including Indigo Girls with Neko Case, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Tegan and Sara, Japanese Breakfast, Patti Smith, and more,” the zoo said.July 5 - Jason Isbell and the 400 unit with Deer TickJuly 23 - Blues Traveler / Big Head Todd and The MonstersAugust 16 - Patti SmithAugust 23 - The Flaming Lips performing “Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots”and will be available online only and do not include admission to the zoo.

ZooTunes will be outdoors at Woodland Park Zoo’s North Meadow. Concertgoers can enter through the West Entrance at Phinney Avenue North between North 55th and North 56th Street. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m. and concerts start at 6 p.m. Tickets will have the concert’s exact start times. Concerts will go on rain or shine and there will be no refunds or exchanges, the zoo said.

Children three years of age and older will require their own full-priced ticket. Children two years and younger are free provided they sit on the lap of an accompanying adult.
