The report names names, listing every hospital that does each procedure, and whether its results are worse, better or the same as average.
A report released Wednesday by the Pennsylvania Health Care Cost Containment Council focuses on success rates for knee replacements, hip replacements and spinal fusions at Pennsylvania hospitals.
It also gives an idea of how often Pennsylvanians over age 18 have each of the procedures and how often problems arise. York County-based OSS Health Orthopaedic did significantly better than expected in preventing longer hospital stays.
