Couples Who Had Difficulty Getting Pregnant Are Sharing Their Experience And How They Approached Their Different Options
The waiting process after egg retrievals is the most painstaking experience. You wait for phone calls, and they aren't always good. We successfully transferred frozen embryos in December 2021; our baby girl just turned 18 months. Many women find those terribly uncomfortable, but it wasn't so bad. I ended up with 16 healthy viable eggs in the end, but since then, I gave permission for them to be thrown away. It was SO incredibly stressful, but somehow, the urgency of everything going on allowed me to simply do it and save all my panic and anxiety attacks for after it was all finished."
