At least two women said they were flashed by a man while they were walking in the Heights.
HOUSTON — Two women in the Heights said they were targeted by a flasher this week.Both victims said they were cornered and they're concerned that someone is targeting women in the neighborhood along a popular hike-and-bike trail."A guy stopped his car, an old Honda with paper plates, and turned around and flashed me," King said."He went down the street and did it again," she said."I didn't know what to do, run or keep walking my dog or what.
King posted about her experience on Next Door. That's when she found out that she wasn't the only victim. Another woman said she experienced a similar incident in the same area.The other victim didn't want to be on camera but said her frightening experience happened just days before King's near Shepherd Drive. She said she ran away.
Neither woman knows if it was the same man but the incidents are causing concern for those who walk in the area.Both women are telling their neighbors to be on the lookout.Neither woman filed a police report, but police said that if you do have a run-in with a flasher, you should call the police.
