Detectives arrested Campbell days later after it was revealed that she had tipped the killers off about Thomas' movements. She inadvertently implicated herself after giving key details of the murder which she claimed had come from speaking to the tragic dad during a seance. Campbell, of Clayton, Manchester was jailed for 13 years after being convicted of the manslaughter of Thomas, 36. The dad suffered 61 separate injuries after being ambushed at his £350,000 townhouse.
