The tribunal heard the meeting involved a series of pre-determined questions that left Mrs Healey at a ‘significant disadvantage’ due to her long term absence. These included: ‘What are the most pressing challenges facing the Early Years sector? Please give us some examples of how you have supported the sector in addressing some of its challenges to date.’ She was given a score of 84 out of 165 in answering the questions, which was less than her competitor, who was given the job.
