In one of this year’s more inventive examples of face coverings, a video shows a woman using a KFC bucket as a makeshift mask.
Taken at Westfield Marion shopping mall in Adelaide, Australia, the candid clip shows an unnamed woman sitting at a table, scrolling through her phone while holding a pink drink in her other hand.But it doesn’t take long to notice that a box, which usually houses fast food treats such as wings, drumsticks and chips, had been overturned and placed around the woman’s head in an attempt to shield her nose and mouth.
This video is particularly entertaining as it comes just as wearing a face covering in shops and supermarkets has become mandatory in England, in order to try to stop the spread of coronavirus.A woman has gone viral online after using a KFC box as a face mask at a mall in Adelaide Some have taken to the adjustment by buying fabric masks with colourful patterns and prints, or even making their own with the help of a YouTube tutorial.
Yet others have taken their creative pursuits in more outlandish directions – posts on social media have shown people in the UK using underwear and plastic buckets in an attempt to guard their faces.
