Cleveland Heights police investigated a matter in which residents of Rushleigh Road reported seeing a car stopped in the street at 4:15 a.m., loud music emanating from it, then heard gun shots.

After an investigation, police arrested the woman for trespassing and disorderly conduct.At 6:15 p.m. Sept. 16, a woman reported that her 2023 Subaru Forester had been stolen from its parking place in the street.
A witness told police she heard the loud music, then four shots fired. The music was turned off after the shots were fired. The car didn’t leave the area until two or three minutes after the shots were fired. The driver, a man, 52, did not comply with the officer’s request for identification and instead argued about the traffic stop.
Police had the car towed and charged the man with carrying a concealed weapon, a felony; having a weapon under disability; improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle; marijuana possession; and several traffic offenses.At 2:15 a.m. Sept. 16, a Desota Avenue woman, 46, reported that she had an argument with her son, 24, and that he was vandalizing her car. At the scene, police found no damage to the car. The woman’s son left the home before officers arrived.
He said he wanted to go back to prison and as he talked, his emotions went from calm, to angry, to crying. Police spoke with the man, who said he arrived home from work to find the woman irate and throwing his belongings into the garage, in which he lives. She also threw his computer monitor at the house and tipped over garbage bins. The monitor damaged the home’s door.
