PHOENIX — A woman was taken to the hospital Tuesday for a life-threatening gunshot wound after she was found in a Phoenix residence.
Officers were dispatched to a neighborhood near 75th Avenue and Indian School Road at about 12:30 p.m. for reports of a shooting at a residence with multiple occupants inside. After evacuating the occupants, officers located a woman who had been shot. She's been transported to the hospital and her current health status is not known.
