A 60-year-old woman from New Hampshire was seriously injured after falling into scalding water near the Old Faithful geyser in Yellowstone National Park. The woman, who was walking off a designated trail with her husband and dog, broke through thin ice covering the hot spring and suffered second- and third-degree burns to her legs. She was airlifted to a hospital for treatment.
Rangers at Yellowstone National Park said a woman from New Hampshire suffered thermal burns on her legs after going off the trail and falling into scalding water near the Old Faithful geyser.
