A woman has been left with a fractured skull and bleeding to the brain after a collision with a bus in Queensland on Monday.
A woman is in hospital suffering potentially life-threatening injuries on Monday after a horrific collision with a bus at a pedestrian crossing on the Gold Coast in Queensland.A 41-year-old woman was reportedly walking across a pedestrian crossing on Davenport Street near Hinze Street when she was struck by the bus.She was rushed to Gold Coast University Hospital with a head wound.
Gold Coast Police Acting Superintendent Scott Knowles revealed later the same day at a press conference just how serious the injuries were.“The latest information I have is she has fractures to her skull and bleeding on the brain.” Mr Knowles said initial investigations indicated the woman had been walking in the direct of the courthouse building when she collided with the bus.- One patient with potentially life-threatening significant head injuries has been transported to Gold Coast University Hospital following a pedestrian and bus incident on the corner of davenport Street and Hinze Street at 7.52am.
