A listeria outbreak linked to milkshakes from the Frugals restaurant off 108th and Pacific Avenue could mean legal trouble for the popular Tacoma burger stop.

According to the Washington State Department of Health , investigators found listeria in the milkshake/ice cream machines at Frugals, located at 10727

Pacific Avenue South in Tacoma. The machines were not cleaned correctly, and no other Frugals restaurant are believed to be affected, the DOH said on Aug. 18, 2023.
