A woman shot and killed a man who was following her because she felt 'scared,' according to an arrest warrant affidavit
A woman told police she shot and killed a man last week in Pleasant Grove because she felt scared while he was following her, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.of a shooting. When officers arrived at the scene, they found 44-year-old Keeman Bowens on the ground, dead from gunshot wounds, according to the affidavit.Iyanna Wells, 25, was arrested in connection with the shooting and faces a murder charge. It was not immediately clear if Wells has an attorney.
Wells was taken to the police station where she told police she was walking on the sidewalk when Bowens started following her. She pulled a gun from her backpack and told Bowens to “leave her alone and stop following her,” the affidavit says.She said Bowens never said anything threatening to her, was not carrying a weapon and never made an aggressive move toward her. Wells couldn’t articulate any threats made toward her, the affidavit said.
