A suspect was arrested in connection with a body that was found in West Virginia, according to state police.

Tony Williamson , 35, was taken into custody in the Parkersburg area early Monday morning, troopers said.

In a criminal complaint filed in Lincoln County Magistrate Court, troopers said Brandjes was last seen June 20 leaving Big Splint Hollow in Mingo County with Williamson in her vehicle. “We’ve just really tried to stay on it -- just be on top of it with as little knowledge as we had about it to begin with," Clagg said. "We had no clue why she would even be here, so we’ve just been working tirelessly for her.”

“We were able to get photos of the tattoos on her legs. We got those out to the public, and the public did a big thing for us, and they were able to identify her," Clagg said.
