A woman has been rushed to hospital this afternoon after she was hit by a bus.a 'collision' in the Trongate area at around 2.10pm had sparked a large emergency services responseIt has now been confirmed that the incident, which took place near to Stockwell Street, involved a bus and a female pedestrian who has been taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
"Emergency services attended and the woman has been taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. No details on her condition or injury."Trongate between Glassford Street and High Street is closed until further notice. Local diversions are in place." An SFRS spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 2.05pm on Wednesday, January 11 to reports of a road traffic collision in Stockwell Street, Glasgow.
